Psychometric Assessments

Written by superuser on March 21, 2015

Psychometric assessments assist clients to learn more about themselves and their interests. They are conveniently completed online, on your own time, and then interpreted for you in a subsequent personal, or career, counselling session. The following interest and personality assessments have benefited clients.

Career Interest Profiler

This assessment is used to identify career choices if you are searching for a career direction. It measures your traits among six occupational categories and suggests 20-40 careers that fit your identified interests. The report includes job descriptions, links to the National Occupational Classification databases, job boards, and labour market information. Additionally, it has helpful information and exercises for further career exploration.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®)

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is an assessment of personality type.  It describes your preferences for interacting with others, gathering information, making decisions, and organizing your life.

Fees for psychometric assessments are due prior to their administration and do not include the cost of in-session interpretation. Payment is accepted by credit card and a receipt will be provided for extended health care plans. Please check with your plan in ahead of time to see if the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Canadian Certified Counsellor are covered.

As a qualified assessor, I can also administer any further assessment listed at psychometrics.com.
